Nick Dalessandro

Nick Dalessandro is a sophomore at Central Michigan University from Grand Rapids in his first season as a camera operator for the Chippewa Hockey Network. Nick’s journey into sports broadcasting started in 2016 with MHTV’s Sports Central as a camera operator covering football and hockey.  His role with the program includes filming, editing highlights, and writing talent script.

When he’s not filming or editing videos, Nick has been involved in the student-operated radio station, 101.1 The Beat, as a DJ.   Twice a week he organizes a 2 hour show about the latest news in sports and the music industry.

Along with Sports Central, Nick is also the director of media for “The Dirty Sports” podcast, a weekly sports show based out of Los Angeles.  Nick edits videos and audio to promote the show, running almost their entire Youtube page, and has been doing so since late 2015.

Nick plans to major in broadcasting at Central Michigan, and continue to gain experience in the sports broadcasting field.
